The battle system was incredibly complex, and in spite of reading many guides and watching videos about it, I never felt like I had a full grasp on it. Similarly the story alternates between going way too slow and way too fast, expands and shrinks its scope as if they didn't know what the game was about, and most of it ultimately goes nowhere. I started looking up exactly how you should play this game, and found most people saying just play it the way you want to, which is something I appreciate. The battle system is surprisingly fun, reminds me a little bit of Diablo III, though far more intense/intricate. I finished a few quests and got my guy to an amazing level 10 after getting my ass kicked numerous times. It's strikingly beautiful the majority of the time. I do not understand how it runs on the ol Wii U. Jesus Christ I think it's bigger than Breath of the Wild. ![]() You could easily get lost in just one district. The size and scope of this game is pure insanity. It took me nearly half an hour just trying to find the exit. Last time I played I left my character at a lowly level 5 after just reaching New LA. There is so much to this game I feel like my head is gonna explode just reading the damn manual. After a few years of owning this game but not really playing it, I decided to jump back in today. ![]()
